Cavotec has won three orders worth a total of more than EUR 28 million for MoorMaster™ automated mooring systems at applications in Australia, Canada and Denmark, one of which — for the St. Lawrence Seaway in Canada — is the largest to date for MoorMaster™, and one of the biggest projects in the history of the Group.
Earlier this week, our first automated mooring application in the Netherlands took shape, as two MoorMaster™ units were delivered and carefully lowered into position at Port Den Helder.
Our radio remote control (RRC) units support a wide variety of applications worldwide. In one of our latest projects, we’ve delivered an integrated control system that operates eight lanes of traffic lights, a road barrier and hydraulic decks on a car ferry in Sweden. The system was inaugurated earlier this month.

We were exhibiting at TOC Middle East this week, one of the port sector’s largest events attracting port authorities, shipping lines, and port equipment manufacturers. The exhibition was well-attended, with automation and electrification topping the agenda.

Cavotec has been awarded a EUR 10 million order for MoorMaster™ automated mooring units at a container port to be disclosed later in a joint press release with the customer. It is the largest single order to date for the technology, and further underlines the growing demand for Cavotec's automated mooring systems.
As we announced back in the summer, our automated mooring technology, MoorMaster™, will be integrated with another of our innovations – Alternative Maritime Power (AMP) – to create a single system that will first moor and then connect a passenger ferry to electrical power to charge its batteries.
