Cavotec RRCs keep control system ship-shape

In one of our latest projects, we’ve delivered an integrated control system that operates eight lanes of traffic lights, a road barrier and hydraulic decks on a car ferry in Sweden. Cavotec has been awarded a EUR 10 million order for MoorMaster™ automated mooring units at a container port to be disclosed later in a joint press release with the customer. It is the largest single order to date for the technology, and further underlines the growing demand for Cavotec's automated mooring systems.

Automated mooring combines with shore power: a world first
As we announced back in the summer, our automated mooring technology, MoorMaster™, will be integrated with another of our innovations – Alternative Maritime Power (AMP) – to create a single system that will first moor and then connect a passenger ferry to electrical power to charge its batteries.
