Cavotec appoints new members of Group Management

Cavotec has appointed Jonathan Eriksson as Senior Vice President and Head of Industry Division and Nicklas Vedin as Senior Vice President and Head of Ports & Maritime Division. Patrick Mares, in Group Management since 2019, has been appointed Senior Vice President, Product Management and Chief Technology Officer.

The two new members of Group Management come from senior roles at Cavotec and know both the company and the market very well.

Other members of the Group Management are, as before, Patrick Baudin, responsible for the service operations, Jörgen Ohlsson, head of global operations, Vanessa Tisci, Chief Legal & Human Resources Officer and Joakim Wahlquist, Chief Financial Officer.

In addition, Gabriella Sereni has been appointed Head of Marketing and Communications. She joined Cavotec in 2022 as Group Sales Enablement Manager and has previously worked as Marketing Communications and Product Marketing Manager at Atlas Copco, among others.

About Jonathan, Nicklas and Patrick:

Jonathan Eriksson has held senior positions in Cavotec such as Vice President of the Industry Division, Vice President and Head of Business Development and Project Director, Global Operations. Among his accomplishments is the establishment of the Indian operation which started in 2024. Prior to joining Cavotec in 2020, he served among all as a management consultant at Roland Berger and project leader at Atlas Copco Industrial Technique. Jonathan is born 1992 and holds a M.Sc. in Industrial Management and Engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden.

Nicklas Vedin has held senior positions in Cavotec such as Vice President of Sales in the Ports & Maritime Division and Vice President, Product Management for MoorMaster. Among his accomplishments, he brought the MoorMaster automated mooring technology to Asia and Latin America. Prior to joining Cavotec in 2018, he served as a management consultant at Ericsson in Sweden and the US. Nicklas is born 1991 and holds a M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management from Linköping University in Sweden.

Patrick Mares has held the position as President and Head of the Ports & Maritime Division. Prior to joining Cavotec in 2019, he served as Vice President EMEA at Harsco Rail. Prior to this, he was Vice President of Sales & Business Development at GKN Land Systems, President EMEIA at Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies, and held various leadership positions at General Electric. Patrick is born 1962 and holds a M.Sc. in Engineering from the University of Leuven in Belgium.
