Leading mining group, Fortescue Metals Group, has ordered 24 MoorMaster™ units for use at Port Hedland in Western Australia: a project that highlights how this innovative technology improves productivity and reduces infrastructure costs.

We currently have a small, dedicated film crew making a lightening tour of Europe, Australia and the US to shoot material for our new company film. The stars of this film are our ground support equipment at airports and our automated mooring and shore power systems at ports. Keep track of our progress as we Cavotec our way around the world in 11 and a half days.

Cavotec Micro-control and unmanned surface vehicle (USV) manufacturer, Maritime Robotics, successfully held a demonstration of a radio remote controlled (RRC) unmanned vessel – Mariner USV – off the coast of Trondheim, Norway, earlier this week.
