Cavotec is launching a lightweight radio remote control unit specifically designed for frequent and extended use. The unit, the MC3100, is designed for use with mobile cranes, tower cranes and crusher machines.

We currently have a small, dedicated film crew making a lightening tour of Europe, Australia and the US to shoot material for our new company film. The stars of this film are our ground support equipment at airports and our automated mooring and shore power systems at ports. Keep track of our progress as we Cavotec our way around the world in 11 and a half days.

Cavotec Micro-control and unmanned surface vehicle (USV) manufacturer, Maritime Robotics, successfully held a demonstration of a radio remote controlled (RRC) unmanned vessel – Mariner USV – off the coast of Trondheim, Norway, earlier this week.
