Drilling down to safer, cleaner, cost-efficient offshore operations

We’re at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) in Houston this week, the world’s largest oil and gas industry event, showing how our innovative technologies are making offshore applications safer, cleaner and more cost-efficient.

At the Cavotec stand – number 4432 in the Norwegian Pavilion – we’re exhibiting explosion-proof Human Operator Interface (HOI) and Radio Remote Control (RRC) systems, motorised reels, cable chains, power connectors and power units, slip rings and joysticks.

Visitors to our stand will be able to meet our experts and gain insights into how we also support the oil and gas sector meet efficiency and sustainability goals with our automated mooring and shore power systems.

According to OTC, the event provides a forum for energy professionals “to exchange ideas and opinions to advance scientific and technological knowledge for offshore resources and environmental matters.”

This year’s OTC kicked off on May 1 and winds up on May 4, and is expected to attract more than 2,300 exhibitors and attendees from some 100 countries. First held in 1969, OTC now holds several other events including the Arctic Technology Conference, OTC Brazil, and OTC Asia.
