Innovative Cavotec PCA systems enhance passenger comfort, operational efficiency at Dubai International

Work is underway to install specially designed Cavotec Pre-Conditioned Air (PCA) systems for Dubai International Airport’s Concourse C upgrade that will rapidly cool wide-bodied aircraft up to the largest aircraft, Airbus A380 – even in hot and humid conditions common to Dubai – and thereby enhance passenger comfort and operational efficiency, and reduce environmental impact.

As the rate of passenger growth accelerates, and pressure to reduce costs and increase revenues intensifies, airports face significant operational challenges. IATA forecasts that more than 7.2 billion passengers will travel in 2035, doubling from 3.8 billion in 2016.
Cavotec UK marks opening of new premises

Cavotec UK recently completed a successful move to new and larger premises in Stockton-on-Tees, a site ideally suited to the company’s future growth and expansion. Working closely with landlord UK Land Estates, Cavotec UK has also overseen the full redevelopment of the site.
